WoW!!!  FWIW, here are several experts' picks for the various conferences.  Seems like the Seawolves have something to prove.

Did Hartford sign Lebron James and I missed it?

Hartford did finish pretty strong last February. Perhaps they have some mojo going for them this year. Anyone know what contributors they've added this season? 1 month until we see this years squad in action and I hope they have it together. The beginning of last season was a bit of a let down with the rule changes, increases in fouls and the lack of defense.

I'm okay with not being the favorite. All good with me. Just get the top seed and play the tourney at home on our new Arena  ;D

Ok, let me not get ahead of myself

I read that on Nov. 1, SBU plays a scrimmage with Yale.  Does anyone know whether it will be open to the public?  It seems that these pre-season scrimmages get played under strict secret circumstances.  I'd sure like to get an early preview of the Seawolves!!

Usually this scrimmage is closed as were past scrimmages against CCSU and Rhode Island.

Looks like the coaches felt differently then the media. Stony Brook picked first by 6 coaches in the preseason poll!

I heard SB lost this scrimmage but don't know the score.. I was told it's against NCAA rules to discuss the game to the public. Sounds like horse $hit to me...If someone has some information on the game and is not afraid to get locked up in prison for life, feel free to spill the beans!!

If it's a scrimmage - it's irrelevant. You don't play to win those. You play to run plays

I understand that, and agree with it.  So, my question is, does anyone know what was learned?  Any surprises (positive or negative) for Coach P.?

We will be fine we have depth and without Rosenberg Columbia is an average team. Plenty of talent on our bench to get through this one.
