2012/13: Game 1 - SBU @ Marist - Season Opener

Hello guys. The time has come. Seawolves basketball is one week away from opening their season. They will open at Marist located in the town of Poughkeepsie, NY 1.5 hours north of NYC. Who's planning to attend the game. I'm hoping to drive up there and see a lot of you to support a new era of Stony Brook basketball.

I will be there with six or seven other people.  Gonna blow the roof off the McCann Center.  Game time is at 9:00 pm because the women play first with the game being televised on espn3.  It is not a double header however.  After the women's game they are clearing out the facility and readmitting everyone.  Gonna be great to see a balance of grizzled veterans and our group of freshmen with their youthful exuberance.  Marist should be improved this year so it will be a solid test on the road late at night.  From a 9pm tipoff friday night to a 6 am tipoff four days later on tuesday.

Salty, How did your tickets? I was checking out the Marist webpage and it seems like they don't have an online ticket-buying system... Call them up?

Is there any way to watch the game free on-line?  Lot of pretty good games in the AE tonight.  4-2 would show that the league is starting to improve overall, but that doesn't happen if you guys don't win.  Good luck!

couldn't make it to the game after all.... gas screwed me over once again... Watching the UCONN doubleheader on ESPN/ESPN2 for now...

Sloppy win but I will take it.  Lost the live stream also had to switch to the good old radio. Final Seawolves 60 Marist 57.
