Not much to say about yesterday's game (didn't see it) other than a positive outcome after Indiana was probably needed.  I thought Pikiell did the right thing in keeping Carter out; what he did, especially as a Senior, was ridiculous!  That said, tomorrow's game is an important one.  Certainly the first game vs. similar competition, in that Sacred Heart is an NEC team, and has already played Hartford (won by 20, but much closer until fouling in last minute).  This MUST be a victory over a bottom-end NEC team, even if it's on the road.  Still early, but SBU should not lose to this team....couple things to watch:  # of turnovers, Dougher/Hayes' 3-point shooting, and FT%.  If this team continues to shoot FT's poorly, it will cost them a game!  Finally, what type of production comes from the frontcourt reserves (Rapier, Carter and McAlister)?  I think you are pretty set with your backcourt reserves (Jackson, Coley and Rouse).....

Agree 100%.  Brenton , Rapier and Joyner need to make free throws.  Being around the basket they will draw fouls and need take advantage of that.   Bracey looked good yesterday but it was a D3 defense he was up against.  Need to win  on Tuesday and next Tuesday at home against Columbia because we will be tested again on Thanksgiving by NorthWestern on TV.  No more 30 point blowouts!

The FT% was indeed very poor. I was at the game and Free throws no longer looked like Free Throws because they were so hard to get. I got my first look at the team and it was a great time. A lot of students came in despite the early home opener and we did what were supposed to do, 93-39.

Carter was serving a one game suspension for the nut punching incident.  But better this game than any more significant game down the line.
