2011/12: Game 27 Stony Brook at Hartford
« on: February 19, 2012, 08:13:00 am »
Coming off a great Bracketbuster win at Boston (Northeastern), time to get back into league play and finish strong. Hartford has surprised many (at least me) and stands at 7-7 after being undefeated prior to league play they are peaking right now. Something tells me this is not going to be an easy game so I hope the team is ready to play hard. Currently tied for first place, we cannot afford to lose a game if we want have remote chances at getting the first seed.

Amazing how the season is coming to an end, it has been great so far.

Go Seawolves

I can't believe that Vermont lost to Binghamton. Just what we needed. A win on Sunday and we are Regular Season Champions!

I Know!  bingo goes 0 for the century, literally didnt win a game in a year's time.  They werent even close to a W all season.  Then they upset a strong 2nd place team- which was a hair outside of 1st place?  At the end of the season?  Very odd; proof that it can happen on any given day.

Weve got to seal up first by matching VT or better (we have Maine; they have UMBC).  Arguably they have the easier path right now.  After that, we have to NOT collapse in the tournament as we have in the past.  GO SB!!!

The team seems to have rebounded nicely since the game at Vermont.  I like the way they're playing heading into the tournament.

The team is indeed playing great basketball right now. They shot 60.5% from the floor last night, the had years without shooting 60%. Add to that a great comeback victory against Northeastern. With a win against Maine, they'll be walking into the tourney on great footing.
