2011/12: Game 23 Stony Brook at New Hampshire - ESPN3
« on: February 05, 2012, 01:39:38 pm »
They beat Albany, but no time for rest. Stony Brook continues its road trip to New Hampshire in search of another great victory. A chance to be 11-1 and return home to play UMBC is awesome.

The game will be televised on ESPN3. Lets hope for another great Seawolves Performance.

Another tough road win by our Seawolves.   It wasnt perfect  but a road W is  nice.  Our free throws kept us ahead down the stretch .  Now back home for UMBC !

We got a lot of O rebounds under the boards last night, good job by Joyner in limited minutes.  There were some awful three pt attempts that NH threw up there.  Dougher and Coley are playing great right now too.

It also makes it better that Hofstra is 8-17 (2-11) right now.  We cant choke come March this year.

Grind it out effort by the Wolves. Did not play particularly well on the offensive end of the floor, but
the D did what it does and UNH certainly helped. Good teams win on the road even on nights when
the "A" game does not show up.
I give UNH some credit. They do not always play smart, but they seem to always play hard.

Ouch, I didn't know Hofstra was doing that bad... But we haven't accomplished nothing yet, so the team has to remain focus. Only after we get to the NCAA could we look at Hofstra... LOL

"Haven't accomplished nothing yet"  Wow, tough crowd! The goal obviously is the Dance, but I am enjoying the hell out of this record setting conferance season.

Agreed. Coming from a conference that  has only advanced to the second round once in the last however many years, I can't understand why we place such a high premium on NCAA appearances. What we have done this season, however, is been the most dominant team in conference play for as long as stats are available (see onebidwonders), got our first win at the events center, and had a regular season sweep over Albany. I'm pretty happy with what this team has accomplished thus far.

The team hasn't accomplished anything that they haven't accomplished before (see 2009-10). Last year they made it to the championship game. Hopefully this year they make the jump. Don't get me wrong, I love the wins, I enjoy them. I attend every game. its awesome!
