2011/12: Game 19 Stony Brook vs Hartford
« on: January 23, 2012, 12:52:41 pm »
SB remains in 1st place of the AE tied with BU after an ugly win at Orono. Now the team can come back home and continue doing what its been doing all season long... WIN!

This Hartford game will be packed with students since the Department came up with a brilliant idea of handing out bracelets to students for admittance to the BU game (Winterfest game) on friday after the completion of the Hartford game. This means that if a students wants to attend Friday's game he also has to attend Wednesday's game. Expect a goooood crowd for both of these games. It will be exciting to be there and hopefully this is another victory for SBU against a 4-3 Hartford team.

Big week for SBU hoops. Next 3 games at home. If we can hold serve now it will set us up nicely for the stretch
run even with potentially difficult road games at Albany, UVM and UNH.
The Friday night atmosphere should be electric. Really looking forward to it.
Need the 6th man involved!
Need to handle Hartford first. They are young but play hard.
If they are hitting their 3's they could be a pain.

Seawolf80. Expect close to sellout for the Hartford game also. I'm sure Students will be coming down to the game to get the bracelets.... Its going to be a good three game strech.

Excellent. Glad the students are back. They have the potential to add so much to the event. I know you have
mentioned you are sometimes disappointed with your fellow students involvement. Here is a great opportunity
for them to step up.

We did what we were supposed to do. Great game. 60-37 Final. Dougher had a big game.

The team looks ready for Friday!

Loved seeing a packed student section.

The game was weird last night.  We took care of business, and any time you only give up 37 pts you are happy.  I didn't realize how well we shot until I checked the stats after the game.

Hartford looked totally gassed by halftime.  Glad to see everyone get on the floor.  Any time we get a Resner sighting, you know it was a whoopin.
