2011/12: Game 17 Stony Brook vs New Hampshire - IO 118
« on: January 15, 2012, 04:53:00 pm »
Stony Brook returns home after its first lost in seven games with a 9-7, 4-1 record tied for first place with the Albany 'Danes. Trying to extend an eight game winning streak at the Pritchard against New Hampshire.

I watched the entire first half of Boston's game and it didn't look good at all. However, I am glad that the team didn't give up and fought in the second half despite falling short. Loosing to Boston U at Case is no big deal, we have only won there once anyways. Our job is to defend day and night our home court and we must do that tomorrow (monday) against a UNH team that just came off from beating Vermont (even though that doesn't mean much this year).

Good luck to our Seawolves and hopefully they can be 5-1 after tomorrow before walking into Orono and facing a dangerous Black Bears team.

This was  a solid game for the Seawolves tonight.  5-1 in conference play  with Maine and Albany both losing today is nice. Rapier continues to dominate underneath so far not many teams in the AE have an answer for our big guys,  Now to get ready  for Maine !

Very happy with what I saw against UNH.  Dougher had an atrocious day, but the team picked him up.  Also, UNH shot very well, and despite that, they were never really in the game.

A couple things to note, Carter didn't look to great near the end of the game.  Not certain what happened, but he looked really "unwell" (my gut is saying illness, but again, thats speculation).

Hayes was a non-factor, but thats not a huge shock.  Once he gets comfortable with his new mechanics, he'll be perfectly fine.  He's just got to get used to it.

McAllister played a bunch of minutes with the starters and looked better than he has all year.  Loved to see that.
