With our goalie and two starting defenders back, I am surprised by how much our D is struggling.

im not too worried.  we'll probably get in- more likely AE and not AL.  and when we do, everyone is on notice and no one will want to play us in the first round.  JoeSpa has the ladies prepared. GO SB

OVERTIME WITH PAUL CARCATERRA: KYLIE OHLMILLER (S1 E5)
https://www.uslaxmagazine.com/podcast/senior-women/overtime-with-paul-carcaterra-kylie-ohlmiller-s1-e5

Quote
Kylie Ohlmiller committed to Stony Brook when the program was an afterthought among the elite in Division I women’s lacrosse. Fast forward four years, Ohlmiller left her legacy as one of college lacrosse’s greatest talents, transforming the Seawolves program in the process. She finished her career as the NCAA's women's lacrosse all-time leading scorer in points and assists.

Ohlmiller now sets her sights on growing the women’s game and using her platform to uplift others playing the sport. She’s a full-time lacrosse star and a member of Team USA. Ohlmiller touches on her "fangirl" moment with the U.S. national team, and her chances of playing in the Olympics if lacrosse is ever included in the program.

Listen to Ohlmiller’s story in Episode 5 of Overtime.

Up 7-3 at UMBC right now but we don’t look like  the same team that just played Princeton. More of the same shooting right into the goalie’s stick.  We should be up by a lot more. Hope we make adjustments and pour it on in the second half. Go Shewolves!

The culture of the women’s game will be a lot better off when the flopping is penalized. Regardless, the team had a full week of prep and was unable to get it done at home against equal competiton. It is unfortunate.

The women are up big at halftime against Umass-Lowell.  It appears that TO isn’t playing today. Won’t speculate but just hope its nothing serious.

As per Newsday, Ohlmiller and Barretta will both be out for apx 1 month with what Spallina vaguely  describes as “lower body”  injuries. I hope neither injury is more serious than what is being disclosed so far.  The team has been dealing with a lot of adversity this season (injuries/one goal losses). That aside, today was a nice conference win with plenty of different goal scorers.

We had 15 different goal scorers tonite. I wonder if that’s a program record.
