7-6 SB at half.  it should be 11-7 BC, but teso made 5 improbable doorstep saves.  maryland tied with to navy with 10min left.

Rough start had me worried for a bit, but we do what great teams do, don't panic. Up 7-6 going into the half which is fantastic. I'm finding this way more entertaining than I thought it would be  ;D

Navy and Maryland are tied up 14-14 right now. It'd be HUGE if Navy could take down UMD. If we can get out of BC with a win, I'd much rather play Navy than Maryland at home.

As the announcer said at the half, this should be the national championship game, not a quarterfinal match-up.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about Lacrosse.

Well, IMO SBU lucky to have 7-6 lead at the half, and this has to be demoralizing to BC, after being up 4-1.  I think BC is faster than SBU, and have beaten them to the ball much more often, particularly during the mid-field "face-off" (probably wrong term).  But, some nice resilience by SBU, and some really good D the last 5-6 minutes of 1st half.

Some stupid comments from me:  I think 90-second possessions are too long (I think it should be 60 seconds), and these "free shots" (again, wrong terminology I'm sure), are given by refs way to frequently, IMO.

Go SBU!  Let's finish it off in the 2nd half!

P.S.  If a player gets 2 Yellow Cards in a game, are they ejected from the game?
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

Our ladies have  met their match . BC is good and our girls need to try and pull away . We are up 9-8 now but need to get more draw controls and control the tempo of the game more.

oldie- if you hadnt told us you dont know the sport, no one wouldve known!

teso is killing BC especially on the free position shots (which yes, im not a huge fan of and is constant discussion in the sport).

i think two yellows are out for the game (possibly next?), not sure. GO SB

I don't get this free position thing, but hey, we're still up 2 right now.

I'll say this though, this flows much more smoothly with less interruption than your typical basketball game where it's whistle whistle whistle every 5 seconds making it unwatchable.

Either we are playing very sloppy or  we are the victims of some home cooking by the refs. Too many fouls even though we lead for the moment .

The announcers on ESPN3 don't seem to realize we are missing Taryn Ohlmiller...that might explain a few things with our offense.
