However, the quote in Newsday goes further on to where Spallina calls our program a “a mom and pop shop” by comparison. Not sure it helps build the brand when you are referring to your program as a mom and pop shop. I get it. I think we all get it. But I’m not sure how some of his players might feel about it. Despite that loss, we still have top-tier D-1 players on this roster. Nobody has the depth that a Maryland has. They are the standard.
