I don’t know how you can see this field and not pick the Seawolves. I feel rage for this team unlike any team in the men’s bracket. Straight up disrespect. Let me tell you what winners do with disrespect: They use it to fuel their progress. They raise that rage monster all day in a musty cage until it’s time to let it out onto the field. This is Stony Brook’s time. WE ARE ALL OHLMILLERS!Dave Anderson

Stony Brook is used to bracket controversy, and this year’s five spot raised eyebrows. But there’s a difference in the current mindset: SBU doesn’t care. The Seawolves don’t intend to watch someone else celebrate on their home field. NCAA all-time leading goal scorer Courtney Murphy didn’t swap a job on Wall Street for a fifth year just to break a record, and Kylie Ohlmiller has never met a big moment she didn’t like. Watch out. 19-0. #1 in all polls for most of the year. #5 seed in the NCAA tournament (somehow). Championship weekend in their home stadium. Kylie Ohlmiller and Courtney Murphy’s senior year. Their last chance to prove that Stony Brook is a top, possibly the top team. Stony Brook has more motivation than a team could possibly need and the talent to make the tall task that is their road to an NCAA championship possible.Dave Anderson

With the women’s Final Four and championship at Stony Brook and the dominance they’ve displayed throughout the season, it’s definitely the year for the Seawolves. The team plays fast, hard, and together, and that combination with the skill they have will be tough to beat for any opponent. Dave Anderson
