Yep, predictably, we got screwed over again by the committee. They just don't respect anybody not in the P5 (even though JMU got the 3 seed, the hell....). It would help to get out of the AE and at least get into the CAA for everything and get the perception bump that comes with that. Damn Hofstra...
On the bright side, the final four is going to be right here at Lavalle, and even as the top seed, we'd be playing a very tough one loss team anyway, so effectively this doesn't really matter too much. Let's just win out and get that national title on our home field. BC, Maryland, JMU, UNC.... all very good teams, so I don't necessarily think we'd have dodged a bullet by getting a higher seed.
The AE conference is the kiss of death. I've been preaching that for years and a few on this board always disagree. Well people. The proof is in the putting. SBWL got hosed because of this conference.
