They were down by 11 at the half. It would have been an ugly upset.

Then, a 23-4 run and ultimately a double-digit victory.

The ladies have simply been outstanding this year, so far.  The last three games they've done without Kaela Hillaire, who by any fair assessment is one of the top PGs in the East.  The Seawolves' AD made a brilliant hire (his first) with Coach McCombs!

Agreed. My concerns are coach McCombs being a flight risk after this season, just like coaches n the past. If SB makes it to the NCAA this year SH have better open up her contract and get out his pen and checkbook because she's too good to lose

Women did their job tonight too. Nearly a 20 point win. 15-1.

I figured with our start we'd at least get a vote somewhere.... nope! Not a single vote. Hopefully that changes next week.

I'm with you on that. You would think with a win over Pitt and only one loss the women's BB would get a vote. But if you go through all the BB conferences you'll see there are many teams that have similar wins and losses and arent ranked. Maybe if the girls win out, they'll get some votes, or a vote..

Beating Pitt honestly doesn’t help their case that much. Their RPI is in the 290s, so they may as well be a mid tier AE team this year

Women move to 16-1.

They were down 15-13 at the half (football score) but ultimately game back to beat UNH 53-44 in OT.

Women’s Hoops Receives First-Ever Coaches Poll Vote, Named NCAA Team of the Week

For the first time, the Seawolves have received a vote in the USA TODAY/WBCA Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Seawolves also were named the NCAA Team of the Week on Tuesday after winning their 15th straight game — one game shy of the longest active winning streak in the nation.

If that wasn't enough to celebrate, a win on Wednesday at Binghamton would move the Seawolves into a tie with Gonzaga for the NCAA's longest winning streak.
