2013-2014 Women's Basketball Season
« on: November 09, 2013, 09:38:11 am »
I just thought it would be a shame not to congratulate the Lady Seawolves on their big victory over NJIT yesterday.  Yes, they have some rough edges and need to lessen the turnovers.  But, all-in-all they played admirably and with a lot of energy and heart to pull out a hard-earned victory.  Sabre Proctor and Shakira Goodman are truly gifted and could potentially lead them to a really good season.  Coach O. has them clicking, so get into the seats and cheer them on!!

Since nobody else did, I think it's only fitting that I take the time to congratulate the Lady Seawolves on their tremendous victory over the Bradley Bears the other day--a school with a storied history in college basketball.  GO SEAWOLVES!!!

Based on already losing to Navy and Army, this season has been a failure.  Hopefully, the ladies can pick up their game during the conference schedule!

What???? No way man. This has been a great season so far for the Ladies Seawolves. Beth is trying to build a program here. We haven't had a winning season in years and it looks like this can be a winning season. Building is a slow process but I like where we are headed. The girls play hard and hopefully they keep doing well. Losing to Army/Navy is nothing... especially when we have struggle so much in previous years

The Albany women are unbeatable this year, but Stony Brook's Sagarin rating is second in the conference.

Just FYI, laxnation, Army and Navy are a combined 13-3 this season thus far.  The Lady Seawolves have nothing to be ashamed of!!

They  will get better. I watched  our men get blown out by Dartmouth in coach P's  1st year. Lost by 20 plus points at home. Now Dartmouth  wont schedule us.
