Pikiell recruited him as his shooting guard for the future.  What aren't you buying?  You know more about Nyama than he does?

A bunch of guys have transferred out since Pikiell became coach.  Next year's starting 2 is redshirting this season.

We're allowed to offer up to 63 scholarship as per FCS and conference guidelines

You're disappointed?  Get a little bit of perspective.  This is a non-conference game against a tough NEC team.  The next team we play (Fairleigh Dickinson) beat Rutgers and Seton Hall this year.  It's basketball.  Stony Brook is a mid-major in a low-major conference.  Vermont is 3-7 this year.  You think they're a 3-7 team?  No, they're not.  Who cares whether they're a tiny private school or a large public.  If you're disappointed, then cheer for someone else and get off the bandwagon

What exactly makes him an FBS caliber QB?  Gaudy statistics don't always translate to the college level.  He's also facing inferior talent on Long Island.  Ask Jackolski and Maysonet and other guys who've played on LI.  Their numbers would be quite different in Pennsylvania or Ohio.  I'm not saying the kid isn't talented.  I'm saying just because he has a 100 TDs means little.

He'd fit into Priore's system?  How do you figure?  Because he's dominated the Long Island high school football landscape?  Jason Gwaltney was a beast on LI as were many others.  Being a good HS QB doesn't translate into being a big-time QB at the college level.

NBA? He wouldn't get drafted

Seawolf97, is that English?

Amazing people on here could possibly criticize Pikiell.  He's forgotten more about basketball than any of you will ever know.  In-game strategies lacking a bit? Amazing

Pikiell better get a hand on what?  He's not calling the fouls

So beating a Big 10 team with a roster of a few Division I players is not a signature win.  I beg to differ.

2006 against Penn State was certainly a signature win.

I talked to someone in the athletic department regarding the video.  Colgate was given money from the Patriot League to fund their video stream.  No such luck from the America East and/or CAA.  This is a venture that, if done right, costs tens of thousands of dollars.  It's just not something that can be done over night.  That being said, they said they'd do their best to make it as good as can be.

The NFL is a business.  They are looking for the best players at a specific time.  Wes Welker was one two teams before he stuck with the Patriots.  For those who say "if he doesn't make it this year, he's done" have no perspective on what it takes to be a professional athlete.  All-Americans and a first rounders get cut.  It's the life of the NFL.

You think he should just retire?  It's a bump in the road.  He'll make it.
