While I would love to see a 20k stadium and SBU in the MAC there are more obstacles than just funding .
The local community wasnt too supportive about building the present stadium due added noise, traffic and whatever else a football stadium brings with it.
20,000 fans means lots of cars. Even if 4 people came in a car that is still quite alot of traffic. So we need ample access roads and parking.
More people means more creature comforts like restrooms , concession stands etc. So we need added plumbing , drainage probably more electric power.
All this plus probably more has to be taken into consideration. It can be done because other schools such as Buffalo have done it. Maybe 10 years is a good target date not only to build up the program but iron out al the details.
