He was completely dominant at the face-off X throughout the day. At one point in his first game he was unofficially 12 of 14, with one of the losses coming by a procedure call. He was able to get up and down the field and was equally competent on both ends of the field playing good defense and was a tough matchup on the offense. He also cleared the ball with ease.

i dunno, we had a 7 point lead with like 8min left.  then we shot threes silly and missed all of them except woody hit one.  then RU took a lead, and we played catchup, yeboah hit one, and we missed a few more.

you cant convince me that if we just went for 2 we wouldve won this game.

nice to see pikiell back in town.  GO SB

Kylie Ohlmiller, Stony Brook/Team USA

Ohlmiller, a rising junior, became the first player from Stony Brook to make a U.S. women's national team roster and twice landed on ESPN's "SportsCenter" for behind-the-back goals.

I know I should be happy with the win but we missed TWENTY shots from behind the arc.

during the warney era, ok, for two reasons- he picked up rebounds, and two, they gave us the look to double him up.

if you take those 27 shots, and try for a higher % shot, how many do we make?  multiply by 2/3 and see if it works.

Two important projects that will make a positive impact on football are planned for 2017. The Dubin Family Indoor Training Center was the greatest priority for our program and, with the funding in place, we are optimistic that it will be completed next year. We are in the process of selecting an architect now and hope to commence construction in the spring.

The LaValle Stadium end zone expansion, which will add 2000 seats and additional restrooms and concessions, officially commences on Monday with a kickoff meeting with our architect and general contractor. This work is expected to be completed in time for the 2017 football season.

Our coaches are currently on the road searching for the next group of Seawolves. Recruiting is another area that we have streamlined since the addition of Patrick Hatch as Assistant AD for Player Personnel. As a former coach, Patrick has changed the way that we communicate and market to recruits as well as providing a trained set of eyes to evaluate film.

last one is interesting- is he a recruiter for all sports, or just football?

We hired Stony Brook alum and former junior welterweight boxing champion Chris Algieri as a nutritional consultant to help our student-athletes make better decisions that will lead to increased performance.
