Stony Brook Enjoys a Record Application Year
Nearly 6,200 admitted students and families visited the Stony Brook University campus on March 23 and April 6 for Admitted Seawolf Days.

The April 6 Admitted Seawolf Day saw a record number of over 4,000 admitted students in attendance, and while heavy rain kept some prospective Seawolves away on the March 23 date, over 2,150 students donned rain gear to see all that Stony Brook has to offer.

Stony Brook received a record number of first-year applications this year – 55,812 – representing a 12% increase from 2023. As of April 5, Stony Brook has received the highest number of applications in the SUNY system for first-year students.

Amelia Brite, Commack, M, Jr.

She had 36 goals, 18 assists and 52 draw controls. She can dominate on both ends of the field and has incredible stamina. Brite is committed to Stony Brook.


Angela Taddeo, North Babylon, M, Sr.

The Stony Brook commit had 44 goals and 11 assists. She is integral in the transition at midfield and a key piece of the team's offense and defense.


Olivia Coffey, Miller Place, M, Sr.

The Stony Brook commit is an outstanding finisher (39 goals) with amazing speed in the open field.


Olannah Fikes, Sachem North, A, Sr.

Fikes finished with 28 goals and 13 assists. She is committed to Stony Brook.


Julia Fusco, Bayport-Blue Point, M, Sr.

Fusco had 26 goals and four assists. The Stony Brook commit is a gritty two-way player who does a little bit of everything and has a knack for finding the net.


Morgan Harloff, South Side, D, Sr.

The Stony Brook commit is a strong, physical and intelligent defender who’s often utilized to guard the opposing team’s top player.


Olivia Liddell, Patchogue-Medford, M/A, Jr.

The Stony Brook commit had 29 goals and 12 assists. She makes a huge impact on the draws and in generating offense from the midfield into the scoring area.


Liliana Pettit, Commack, M, Jr.

The Stony Brook commit has amazing stick skills. She finished with 29 goals, 21 assists and 66 draw controls.
