Not to push this thread into a different direction but I think this partially highlights that Stony Brook needs to get into a better conference if it wants to truly develop the athletic programs and reach a whole new level of national success.  There is only so much that you can accomplish in the America East when it comes to recruiting, attracting coaches, and holding onto coaches.

The Vermont game should be interesting.  I think the team is as good and talented as we all think, but they play to the level of their competition which is the result of having a young team.  In a year or two assuming that no one transfers out, I think you'll see this team learn how to truly dominate other teams in the conference.  They are already capable of it this year, but it's something that they'll have to learn to do.

Anyone know anything about Samba Diallo?  4 star recruit that SBU has a scholarship offer out to and he doesn't have any offers from high-major schools.

Boals just tweeted out a picture of him on what looked like the ferry heading to CT for another recruiting trip so it will be interesting to see who the new names are!

I am new here but if you check out Kessens recent follows on twitter, he just followed Coach Boals and Nyama so I'd think those are good signs that he will come to Stony Brook.
