We did finish 2nd in the CAA last season .  The first time we played UNH was when we  were still in the  NEC .  They crushed us at UNH 62 -7 so we have improved in he last 10-12 years .  12 th . is about right for now we beat UNH  last year and just lost to Delaware.

Two items I'm  putting out there for discussion .  Has anyone heard anything about the new IPF .  Supposedly ground breaking  was tp be  by the end of July which is rapidly approaching and no announcements yet. Secondly  SBU just completed a major fund raising effort to reach 600 million dollars by 630/2018.  I have  heard they made it at the last minute due to some generous  donors stepping up .  Thing is I see no public announcement  anywhere  if they did achieve their goal .  I would think they would broadcast this to the world as to the support they received.  Just an FYI  Villanova competed a 500 million dollar fund raiser at the same time  and it made big news in Philadelphia .

I think our schedule reflects  that we are still a young team and lots to learn as we go.  If everyone improves this year  then next seasons schedule  should be a little tougher.  Don't forget we have 6 new faces showing up this year and one will be a red shirt.

That was pretty cool .  Cant wait for construction to start on the new IPF .

When you read his plan even without FBS football we are planning to spend millions. Upgrades to the baseball and softball fields , more work on the pool ,  two new womens programs , locker room improvements etc.  That money has to come from somewhere.   Im sure we can pull it off in the next few years .

The MAC would be great .  From what I have heard we have some support in that conference from Buffalo and few others .  Just gotta get that invite and build from there.

I would rather put money into football and the basketball programs that's where the major press coverage is .  Our other sports all should get their share . Soccer he is talking a complete new venue of 3500 seats so I have heard .   This could be interesting since I get the impression that FBS football is closer than we think for the Seawolves .  Our old rivals in the Big South Coastal Carolina and Liberty are both FBS now .  Coastal almost beat Arkansas last season losing by a field goal .
