Hey who's going up to Albany? I'll probably splurge on the All-Session pass. Anybody have any recommendations about seating at SEFCU- it will be my first time up there.

Ugh, I was stuck at work until about 2PM on Saturday and missed the game. I was planning on going though.

I'll be there for Meet the Team! Can't wait to see the arena!

Just previewed Anthony Jackson (http://tinyurl.com/lphqlkm). I like doing this project solely because I get to learn a lot more about our players- I had no idea how good Jackson's high school team was until I did some research.

Hey ya'll, I'm doing a quick preview of the basketball team- gonna go through the roster and give a brief rundown of each player. Mainly its a project that will help me get to know the team. I'm going down from seniors to freshman.

Here's the first one, Dave Coley http://tinyurl.com/mcuvbom

Thanks for reading my post- I'm completely renovating the site. I hope you guys check out my Flickr...I'm having way too much fun with my camera!

Will Tye needs to get the ball more often, bottom line. He can't be tackled and has shown some great hands. I know its not in SBU DNA to have the tight end involved in the offense but we haven't had talent like this ever. I also can't make sense of why Jahrie Level hasn't got going. Granted, Coxson and Eugene are beasts right now but its odd he hasn't gotten on track. On a positive note, how about Tyler Fredericks? I think he's going to be a stud- he's got great size and he's only going to get better.

On a side note, man what a great atmosphere at LaValle Stadium. If we can draw like that regularly, look out. I think there a lot of institutional differences between Hofstra and SBU. I feel that President Stanley really knows what needs to be done to create a thriving university from academics to athletics.

Were I not going out of state, I would have made the drive up to Colgate this weekend which would have been fun :(

Man, I really like Sturdivant's game. He and Warney in the front court could be a deadly combination.

By the way, just paid off my basketball season tix deposit. So stoked!

Thanks! Here's a link to my latest article, a quick write-up about the Penn scrimmage.

Woohoo, just got my season tix for football and basketball taken care of.

Writing a quick article about scrimmage (yawn). I decided a better way to share my pics is through a Flickr account. I uploaded some pics from the scrimmage. For those who can't make it out to Stony Brook, I'll hopefully bring Stony Brook to you.

I'm actually pretty damn excited about the WR and TE. We have some phenomenal athletes there. Until I wrote this, I forgot just how big of an impact Jahrie Level could have. Having seen Malcolm Eugene in person, the guy is TALL. You really can't appreciate Will Tye's size/speed combo until you see him in person. If Negron can be consistent, I love the potential of this group.

Wrote a quick little something about our WR/TE (http://tinyurl.com/ol5ch5k). Unfortunately, getting clobbered at work but it should get better. I'm loving my camera and the pictures I'm getting though- can't wait to use it for real game action.

I won't be there unfortunately- still a bit miffed that we have a scrimmage this week when the rest of college football is playing real games. I don't expect that we'll see much from the first team this week.

I was there too, got there super late and missed the first team. Here's a quick article with some pics (http://tinyurl.com/kblzz97).

I'm eager for some real game action. From what I saw of the second team, we'll have solid depth this year. I have no idea what's up with Bednarski but I haven't seen him throw a pass in the two scrimmages I went to. I'm always impressed with how big the O-line is here- Bamiro was the biggest but we have some serious muscle.

FYI, I got a new lens for my DSLR and its taking great pics. I can't wait till the season starts so I can get some real game action. I'll probably make a Flickr account or something to host all of my images in full resolution eventually.

Francessa wearing Seawolves apparel? Awesome!

Preseason rankings don't bother me too much. Every game in this conference is going to be fun. To be honest, the Big South games got boring after a while because the Seawolves just beat teams on talent alone. I like seeing good football and we're gonna get plenty of it this year.

I am stoked to see our running backs this season. Coker and Poteat are going to be a deadly combination. Here's a quick rundown of our running back situation for my season preview series (http://t.co/V3jFok9tiS).

By the way, I'm always shocked at how nasty the CAA will be. So many ranked teams make for a gauntlet of conference games. Can't wait to see Stony Brook on TV a few times a year too!

Thanks guys, this is just a project of passion for me. My one and only goal is to improve the visibility of the Stony Brook brand. As a proud alumnus, I want Stony Brook to get better. I'm working on getting a better lens so I can zoom in for some better shots in the future.

Just put together a quick blurb about our QBs (http://tinyurl.com/l99dm9l). I think Negron has a chance to do a fine job, I liked what I saw from him during the scrimmage. I'm a little upset that work will limit me from attending any other practices this month. The next time I'll be at LaValle will probably be for the Penn scrimmage but I'll try to sneak over there again. Will be putting down my season tix deposit this week too for basketball/football.

Went to the scrimmage today, had a good time. It was pretty hot but aside from that, gorgeous day. I bought a new camera (no pricey lens yet) but I like the quality of pictures I'm getting already with it.

http://t.co/2j6T6DdM2K is the article if you're interested. I'm gonna host some of the better pics I took today though.

I can't wait to see Lavalle Stadium packed this year. Three more weeks to see our first game (I know its a scrimmage but that doesn't matter to me!).
