Delaware beats Navy today 14-7 behind a new coach.

Coach P has been with SBU for 18 years and he's still losing to Rhode Island and will have ass handed to him by UMASS.

Stony Brook beat Delaware last season 34-17.  All this tell us is that the Navy program has completely turned to crap!

If anybody ever tells you SBU cant ever hire a big-name coach from a Power 5 conference. tell them to suck an egg.

At this stage of the game. I hope SB plays LIU and gets their doors blown off. I am done with this football program.
With that hire, SBU will be losing some good regional recruits to LIU going forward.
The new LIU coach will be gone within 2 years!

Most of these Yale bb players aren’t paying a dime in tuition.  Obviously some people have never visited the campus at Yale - it blows away 99% of campuses across the country.  By the way, Yale beat UMASS (A10 member) by 20 points.

That post was actually meant for Laxnation, Campi.

Did you happen to watch that game last night?? Newsday staff pickers all had Sachem winning, lol.
I would love for WM to get another shot at Floyd!

Off-topic. Ward Melville will be playing their Quarterfinal football at LaValle Stadium this Friday against Sachem North.

Campi. We don't have many playmakers on offense this year besides my son, #4. Have you been following WM this season? And what is your opinion of the team and #4
#23 (Nick Gaffney) is extremely exciting player and is only a junior!  How is this kid not playing lax at WM?

Because he likes football better. Gafney has the potential to be a top RB next year. He is just gun shy about getting hit. Gafney showed that yesterday against WF where he was nervous about getting rocked. I believe next year when he is a senior that will fade.

Gaffney is a really good RB. He just needs to not be afraid of getting hit
What a night by Gaffney!  Not only a great playmaker on offense, but a great playmaker on defense on the 90 int TD!

Stony Brook’s opponent for the semis of the America East tournament will be the winner of today’s UMBC at Hartford game.

Good riddance!
He couldn’t win 1 big game at home.
He couldn’t control his players with their ridiculous chucks beyond the 3-Point line.
None of his players improved.
Bye-bye!
Get a young, tough guy from the northeast, not some hillbilly from Ohio.

I knew this day would come one day. I just expected it to be for a program like Dayton, Xavier, Cinci, etc rather than Ohio. Does Boals really make half of what he'd make at Ohio?? I'd think we could afford to pay a little more than that for a coach. Especially given our goals as an athletic department. Boals is worth keeping around. Anyone calling for his head is crazy.

Give Boals what he wants. He's a keeper and letting him go for more money would be a huge blow to this BB team. Other people feel the same way.

The team had 3 big games at home in Vermont, Albany (rival), and the first round conference playoff game, which they lost all three and two of them if not all three were absolutely embarrassing!
I have no need for a coach of that team.

That same coach also led us to road wins over South Carolina, Rhode Island (who could win the A10), George Washington, Northern Iowa (without our best player btw), and 13 true road wins overall which is most in the country. I don't know about you, but I'm all in on trying to keep Boals. Our big weakness this year was ball movement.
George Washington (fired their coach) game meant nothing, plus they lost to Holy Cross, worst record in the Patriot Conference! It’s all about the conference playoffs and he failed miserably! Our biggest weakness was ball movement because the coach would rather be friends with his players than coach his players.

I feel bad for the fans that were suckered into believing this team was  any good. I’m so glad I haven’t been a season ticket holder the last two seasons.
