OK, about time this thread starts; the game is tomorrow night. Predictions? The Iowa fan board is pretty confident in a double digit Iowa win, though one guy there hedged a bit when he saw SB's higher-than-expected KenPom rating.

It's time to begin a new topic, especially with this bit of news. The AE Conference announced that Boston U will be ineligible to participate in the conference tournament for this upcoming season. SBU's chance to dance just doubled (it was pretty high already). The AE did the same thing to Northeastern back in 2005.

He sure doesn't look like 99% of other FCS receivers. It's gonna be difficult to bring him down once he has the ball. If he gets the waiver and is in the lineup, I would not be surprised to see SBU make it to the national semifinals, at least. Even without him, anything less than winning the conference and taking a game in the playoffs would be a disappointment. Yeah yeah, I know the ball hasn't even been snapped yet, but based on the roster and coaching staff, that's what I expect to happen. Kudos to Priore for being the type of guy that convinced Coxson to play for him.

Disappointing loss. Hopefully Albany is ****ed enough with its season so far that it's motivated to beat the conference leader when Vermont visits Albany for its next game. Then SBU will be back in the driver's seat.

There's a decent chance the Wolves will meet the Cats again, probably in Vermont. They'd better figure out how to defend against their three-point shooting, or hope the Cats have an off day if they hope to win there.
