He’s a natural lefty, but D’Alto can shoot equally with either hand and he’s a consistent scoring threat because of it. He’s got an advanced lacrosse IQ that allows him to see plays before they develop, and he’s just as adept as a feeder as he is a scorer. He put up a balanced 38-23-61 line as a sophomore, numbers that should spike if he continues to develop.

Ronan is a monster of a 6-foot-4 defensemen who played both close and up top for the Orange Crush at the FLG in 3d Fall Shootout. He stands out on size alone, but runs the field exceptionally well and plays extremely aggressive on ball.

This kid looks like the real deal. Some of the best highlights I’ve ever seen by a Stony Brook commitment. His Lax IQ is off the charts, great stick skills, and size - still growing. As always, I want more speed, but that might be me being too picky! Hopefully, one of the top ten teams don’t steal him from us.

Very Bold. He is definately a beast on 5' 3" righty attackmen who are going to play club ball . What's worse is his choice of music, really the theme from Pink Panther

“Pattersen's impact on our team has been enormous this year,” Pavey said. “In the game of lacrosse, winning at the faceoff X can be the equivalent of ‘make it/take it’ in pick-up basketball. His ability to win faceoffs and force opposing teams to play defense following a goal is a huge team advantage.

Definitely an unorthodox player, but almost any coach would love a player like Vince. He shoots very well with both hands and is extremely intelligent with great vision. He has a couple of rough edges that need smoothing out, but he’s only a junior with time to improve.
This kid is a winner! Yesterday, he scored 5 TDs on 27 carries for 245 yards!
Vince was named 2nd Team All-LI as a linebacker.

according to team 91:
No. 3 Tommy Dolciotto, midfield, Syosset
The recent addition of a shot clock in the college game will do wonders for Dolciotto, who's a tough, two-way midfielder who can do a little bit of everything. He can dodge well and has a big-time shot, but he's also comfortable on the defensive end, plays wings on faceoffs and handles man-down defense. The Swiss Army knife-type prospect brings a lot to the table.
interview: https://medium.com/@ROONEYKNOWS/rooneyknows-player-spotlight-2cd6fedf11b0
Today’s Player Spotlight goes to Tom Dolciotto. I had the opportunity to watch Dolciotto at the Fall Classic. He is the COMPLETE mid-fielder, playing defense, going straight to offense, and hustling back on defense. In lacrosse terms we call this guy the work horse. He was up and down the field all weekend playing with Team 91 Crush. I think the Crush could be the best team in the country, the team is stacked. Dolciotto reminds me of Brian Sherlock, a former Loyola and now Atlanta Blaze mid-fielder, an absolute machine. He never gets tired, dodges with everything he has, and gets the ball in the back of the net. Dolciotto has his style and he will be a force for Syosset this year. I can’t wait to watch him the next for years and I’m sure a ton of college coaches will be knocking at his door.

Tommy Dolciotto '20, midfield, Syosset (N.Y.) / Team 91 Crush
Dolciotto tends to fly under the radar on the best 2020 team in the country because his game isn't super flashy, but he's the type of two-way midfielder that every coach wants and every team needs. He's tough, seems to understand defensive concepts well and pushes the ball well in transition. In an early-morning game, he showed the ability to get into traffic and come away with tough ground balls.

wanted to add- now that we've got players in like celauro and kaminska- this is basically the first i know of legacy players- kids whose dads played in the program. that's cool and we need more of that.
add on the fact that oszvath's (transferred) uncle played at SB, so did brett ryan's, and even trenkle's two older brothers. this is the kind of pipeline we should be building.

here's a guy on the radar- perhaps for two sports: https://theprovince.com/sports/high-school/steve-ewen-mcdonald-loves-his-football-lacrosse-but-is-playing-both-realistic
And we can further cloud the discussion here. McDonald admits there have been NCAA schools that have toyed with the idea of him playing both sports. The Delta Optmist listed the schools as Delaware and Stony Brook in a feature story earlier this season.
Stony Brook, for instance, wraps its football schedule in November. Its first field lacrosse game would be sometime in February.
McDonald admits the premise of being on two teams is “appealing,” but also contends that “it would be a lot,” at the university level.
McDonald says he’ll likely decide on where he’s going to attend university in December, after the football season is completed. For now, the focus will be on getting the Sun Devils on a Subway Bowl playoff run at the very least.
-
https://www.delta-optimist.com/sports/mcdonalds-final-chapter-1.23935948
Ben led the B.C. Junior “B” Tier One League in scoring this past season and helped the Islanders win the playoff championship. He has already toured Ohio State University during his Grade 10 year to play field lacrosse.
“It’s me deciding what sport I want to play. I have to make a decision which will happen after the football season,” said Ben.
At least two U.S. schools — Delaware and Stony Brook — would consider Ben continuing to play both sports.

IL says:
A Long Islander who perpetually plays with an edge, Derby impressed at July's Epoch IL Committed Academy before beginning with Syracuse. He has an excellent stick, doing his best work off the ground and when throwing hard takeaway checks. As a somewhat undersized D guy, he's able to make up for it with his tenacity. Derby will now head to Stony Brook for the spring, giving the Seawolves another talented local product. It also likely ends a long string of potential destinations for his lacrosse career: Derby verbally committed to Army in July of 2016, switched to Dartmouth and ended up at 'Cuse (the two commitment dates are unknown). He also started his career at St. Anthony's, standing out early in the recruiting process at a number of tournaments with LI Express.
mylacrossetournaments says:
Derby brings a nasty disposition to the table. A relentless pitbull, he’s also a force on ground balls and is extremely tough.

OTTAWA, Ontario — Stony Brook men's lacrosse freshman Noah Armitage has moved within one step of representing his native Canada in the 2020 World Lacrosse Men's U19 World Championship this summer.
The 6-foot-3 Armitage, who hails from New Westminster, B.C., is part of a group of 32 Canadian players who has advanced to a second evaluation camp from an original field of 73 that tried out over three days in Oshawa, Ontario, in October.
"I have dreamed about being able to wear the red and white ever since I was young," said Armitage, an attackman at Stony Brook, who was moved to midfield during the Team Canada tryout. "Getting the opportunity to make it a reality is an honor in itself. I'm ready and confident that I will be able to attack the opportunity this upcoming spring and achieve my goal."
