The Stony Brook Men's soccer (10-6-3) will head to Monmounth (14-5-1) for a first round matchup. Winner advances to play against #3 Connecticut as I predicted.
The game will be on November 17th, 7:00pm at West Long Branch, NJ. Go Stony Brook

Stony Brook vs Monmouth tonight at 7pm
There seems to be a free live feed available from goSeawolves.org . I wont be able to watch the game. (I work from 5-9pm) I hope the Seawolves believe in themselves and pull the upset. Fernandez is a great player, and he can do it if the team plays together from the start.
Go Brook!

I feel like Stony Brook can upset any team they face because Leo and Berian will be two of the best players on the field in any game they play.
-
They are indeed two great players. I so want them to reach the Second Round against Connecticut but I have to wait and find out (my gf attends UConn...lol)
Here is the Live Feed:

Great matchup. Unfortunately had to be decided on Penalty Kicks. 5-4 Monmouth wins

Great game and great season. We were picked fourth in the conference back in ths summer. So we had a good run this year.
-
We did much better than expected. We are a good team. Next year we'll be good with the guys that return.
I feel bad for our player that missed the goal. He must be feeling like crap right now. Its all good

Coach Anatol certainly did have a great first year. He and his coaching staff certainly have great promise.

It was great game against a great opponent! Hey we are still conference champs and that nots too shabby .
