The athletic season is coming to an end and our last team standing is once again the Stony Brook baseball team. The AE championship start this upcoming wednesday, and call me crazy, but I believe everyone has a shot at this one. I surely believe Stony Brook has a chance and they have won it all previously as a fourth seed.
Our coach said about four weeks ago on the Sports Section: We just need to win 2 out of 3 the next few weekends and he did just that. We are in!
First matchup is Wednesday at 4pm against our baseball rivals Maine BlackBears.

SBU getting pounded heavily by Maine... 7-0 in the sixth..
-
Time to put this dog to sleep. Next season should be better.

It ain't over till its over!
-
My concern is if by a miracle they make out of the AE tourney they will get destroyed in a regional somewhere.

SBU leading 2-0 in the Fifth. McNitt in trouble

One more day of life. Lets go! 3-1 FINAL!
-
Our guys season ended this afternoon losing to Maine 3-1. Lets get it together for next year.
-
It can ONLY get better next year
-
Why attempt to steal 3B when you are down by two with an out. C'mon... the worst part is that the follow up play was single and an error which would've made the game 3-2. So inexperienced...
I guess they deserved to lose in a way, or simply the better team won. Next year will be a better year. We'll move on
