They are going to spend 10s of millions on the remodeling of the football stadium, but they still can't fix the steps to the entrance of the basketball arena!

The plans look sick. I'm just worried about whether the fans will tag along for the ride if the investment is made. $100 million is no joke and as much of a fan as I am... Its a risky move and in a way I'm glad its going to be all private funds. I would be a little worried about the backlash public funding would bring to such a risky project. Nonetheless, exciting times lie ahead. Stony Brook is on the rise and I'm excited about the 2015 season. One thing is clear: College Football in Long Island is not going away and the commitment is there to play at a high level in the CAA and even beyond

Lets go Seawolves!

Maybe we should  start a Front Step Fund and raise  $100.00 to get them fixed LOL

where exactly do you mean though?  homecoming is all over the athletic fields... unless you mean the grass between the jumbotron and the track?

My guess is football ops is just going to be an expansion of the current space where the lacrosse and football offices are connected to Lavalle.

that's my guess too- south endzone.  it looks like just past the north endzone will be the indoor facility.

they're going to need to move the path to the station to fit that facility north/south. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.9191681,-73.1248176,18z/data=!3m1!1e3

That was my guess also right behind the present student section with  the indoor facility  where Homecoming has been held .  Pretty cool looking new main entrance also . I read installment 1  today  and was impressed. A lot of work in a short time .  Holy Cross and  Bryant are building similar indoor practice facilities also both 100 yard indoor turf fields.

I'm pretty impressed with everything so far. Just wish I could afford to make a bigger contribution.

That's O.K.. Every little bit helps. Between basketball season tickets for 4. Football tickets for 4 and 3 tailgating spots, Homecoming party, and god only knows what else....I am only doing the minimum, Partner, $100
