SB up 10-3, just killing it tonight.  looking good for NCAA tourney, fingers crossed.

Not so fast.. There's a very good chance we will be facing Hartford ace, Shawn Necomb. He is lights out for any team and most likely will be going in the first round of the MLB draft this year!!

The Seawolves need to win just 1 game out of a possible 2 games remaining in the Conference Tournament.

Few hours to go before heading down to Baltimore for the Lax Final 4.

Just need to stay focused. A lot of our guys  were on that 2012 team  as underclassman so they should  be used the pressure.

Tough loss but great bounce-back season for the baseball team.

Bad luck for both the softball and baseball teams who both had the same problem, losing twice to a lower seed in the championship.

Overall this year had a lot of missed opportunities with a lot of squads.

Football- lots of close losses, including to Towson
Basketball- losing another championship game
Softball- top seed, lost two in a row to Albany in the championship
Baseball- top seed, lost two in a row to Binghamton in the championship

We're due for a lot of success soon- these teams are really close to taking a big step forward!

What a shame. Back to back opportunities thrown away.

That seems to be the norm this year.. Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Soccer.. SB plays so well in the regular season only to fold in the playoff. This trend needs to end.. Clearly, SB has talented players but when the title is on the line the team as a whole just freezes... Hopefully Shan Heilbron can give the team some prep talk next season going into playoffs!!!!

I was looking at our baseball roster today and see only 17 players listed.  No freshman only sophs through seniors.  What happened to recruiting?  If you play 9 guys  that leaves 8 on the bench baring injuries. Is it funding, are we headed for a down year?  These  team looks very thin for 2015 and nothing like past teams.  Things like this  kind of standout as to ask the question whats  going  on ?

I'm aware of at least four incoming recruits:

-- Richard Clufo (Pat-Med)
-- Aaron Glickstein (HHH-W)
-- Joe Marzouk (HHH-E)
-- Nicholas Morena (Sachem North)

There are a couple more commits from LI in today's Newsday, as well.

I guess someone should open a 2015 Baseball Season thread.
