Go SB!

I love a good under dog story.  Some of the fans over at tiger droppings were cool...for the most part they were the typical LSU fan that we hear about.  They aren't consistently found on top 10 worst fan lists for nothing.

Also, I wouldn't allow a single one of them to post on this forum.  They are threatening to spam the forum with "pron" if they are allowed on.

Just wanted to say hi to all of the tigerdroppings forum members.  Congratulations for being completely classless and getting yourselves banned from this forum.  I'll have a blast watching you lose this weekend.

Get ready for the excitement of playing against a team like LSU. That stadium will probably riot if they lose game 1...

Obviously a huge a challenge, but I'm excited to see how this team stacks up. They have the #4 draft pick overall in RHP Kevin Gausman, but we have some really good lefty batters with Jankowski, Carmona, and Tissenbaum. It'll be interesting to see.

That was freaky yesterday. It was like a plague of locusts descending down upon this board. Some of those LSU "fans" seemed like they skipped taking their meds. Anyway, glad sanity has returned to the board.

thanks for accepting my registration.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend.

would love if some you would come over to our board to discuss it with us (not Tigerdroppings, that place is a cesspool).
i'll post a link if the admins allow that here.

but first, can someone give me the Cliff's notes on what to expect from your team this weekend?
who are your projected starting pitchers?
style of play (small ball, power game, traditional station to station)?
other than Jankowski and Carmona, who else do we need to keep an eye on?
after such a heavy workload last weekend, can Tyler Johnson go deep into a ballgame again this weekend?

p.s. an early Welcome to Alex Box Stadium to any of you making the trip.

we pride ourselves on being the best host fans in the country.
to food alone is worth the trip.

also, how big of a factor do you thing the weather will play on your team?
it's going to be a hot and humid weekend in Baton Rouge.

My guess on starting pitchers is McNitt on Friday. If McNitt wins, I'm hoping we save Johnson for Sunday and start Vanderka who was great last weekend on Saturday. I don't know what we'll get from Johnson.

I would keep an eye on Maxx Tissenbaum. He's batting .390 with only 6 strikeouts in 223 at bats and was drafted in the 11th round with Carmona. Everyone in the lineup is a capable hitter though. I'm hoping our lefties Jankowski, Tissenbaum, Goldstein, Courtney and switch hitters Carmona and Peragine can give LSU's RHPs some trouble.
