Just saw this quote from our starting pitcher tonight:

"ive got only one thing to say, LSU fans are the best around."

From a fellow fan of FCS Division schools I was pulling for SB and watched SB play a great game. 

Also when App State took 2 of 3 earlier in the year the LSU fans on their message board were less than gracious fans.  Another reason to pull for you guys, LSU fans are just a bit too entitled, then again that seems to be true with the majority of the fans from the big 6 conferences.

Very well played series.  The Stony Brook game 1 starter got a standing ovation, as did the SB team after they took the series.  As a life long LSU fan I can tell you that I have seen this before.  LSU fans appreciate good baseball and know it when they see it.  The Stony Brook team is extremely talented and well coached.  We lost the series but know exactly what we saw.  I didn't get the chance to meet any of the handful of Stoney Brook fans at the games, but I saw several walking around.  They appeared to be having a good time.  Hope they all did. 

Y'all should really drop everything and travel to Omaha.  LSU fans go every year, whether we are in it or not.  It will be a continuation of the large crowd atmosphere y'all had in Baton Rouge.  Good luck and win it all.

Thanks Greg. I think you and Nutriaitch are more representative of many LSU fans than the bozos from the Tiger Droppings site that invaded our board. Good luck during football season!

That's how you get the lead in on sportscenter! Honestly things like will make Stony Brook super attractive to higher conferences in the near future.

After watching the reactions of LSU fans and reading the posts on this board , I am now a fan of all LSU teams . How refreshing to see mature , realistic responses regardless of your connections to the teams. Truly many classy fans.
