Yeah but I don't think this expansion is gonna happen. Not at least till the Brook sells out regularly.

I think you will see this sooner rather than later. Once the new arena is opened  barring any disasters  the stadium should be next.

A lot has to do with the new AD when he/she is hired... I really hope the Doc finds a seasoned veteran AD who has large school experience and knows how to build and grow a brand..

WOW, talking about dropping the A bomb.. It looks as if Fiore had a lot of skeletons in hos closet.... It also appears Fiore had a real good shot at being Rutgers AD but, Allegations came out at that time and Rutgers passed up on him, also Princeton...

what a ****ing pig he ended up being... the guy sold us something he wasn't... Glad he;s  freaking gone. He blew it at Stony Brook where everyone respected him and held him high. I wonder who's gonna give him a second chance. People like this rarely change.

so disappointed

Just read our AD's weekly blog and expansion will happen this year. Work is to begin in August and be completed early 2017  adding 2000 seats to the North End Zone . Also enhancements at Joe Nathan Field and University Field are in the works. And finally our pool will be completed  by years end .  All great news  for our programs and the university .

As for the weeks ahead, we will move forward with our plans to expand the north end zone of LaValle Stadium, build the Dubin Family Indoor Training Center and hire a women's swimming and diving coach to resurrect our program. We will help student-athletes rehabilitate their injuries with the help of our new water treadmill that is being installed as we speak. A new fueling station and student-athlete lounge are also in the works.
